My four year old has discovered Popitz and if you don't know what they are..... Where the heck have you been? I'm low-key obsessed....
Imagine never ending bubble wrap. My inner -child is quaking! Anyhow they come in all colors but she loves 🌈 Rainbow so we will be going with that theme.
So far I ordered her balloons off Amazon but will be DIY'ing most of her party decor and tableware.
I'm going to document everything I do until the big day which is July 6th. The first thing I worked on was her birthday corsage I the rainbow theme.
I'm a firm supporter of semi homemade , do I bought a pin to use as a foundation. I'm also making it a shaker pin using one half of a Christmas ball.
So I start with my $2 pin but cut off the tails.
Now to make the looks you add a dab of hot glue and fold fancy side out. Make sure you are showing the correct side of the ribbon.
Now make all the loops but leave one strip of each color for the tail. At this point get creative and try different arrangements.
Here I've laid out my ball as well to see the final look. Add beads to your ornament and glue down. Don't forget to hide any seams with extra ribbon or accessories.
